Leadership Council
The Earle Leadership Council (ELC) consists of a group of students who serve as community representatives in the Science & Health Living-Learning Center. Under the advisement of the Program Director, the Earle Leadership Council seeks to build community engagement and interaction through intentional programming and events designed for the residents of the living-learning center.
The programs planned and implemented by the Council are student-led initiatives. The council typically consists of 15-20 members led by three presidents and two chairs. Each president is assisted by a chair and focuses on a specific area of activities including membership and recruitment, communication and engagement, and community development and programs. Council meetings are held every other week and the executive members meet weekly depending on the needs of the community.
